2025 yearly reflection

As we reflect on this year 2025, we are grateful for the impact we have had in supporting mental health
and engaging with our community. Here is a look at some of our key initiatives:

Small Group and Individual Support Sessions
We provided tailored mental health support, offering a safe space for individuals and families to explore emotions, share struggles, and gain valuable coping tools. These sessions fostered healing and lasting connections.

Loving Paw Print Encouragement Cards
Our daily affirmation cards brought hope, kindness, and strength to those in need, reminding recipients of their resilience and worth.

Freedom Friday – Releasing Your Paw Print
Every 3rd Friday, participants shared their experiences and emotions in a safe, non-judgmental space. This initiative helped break the stigma surrounding mental health and empowered individuals to express themselves freely.  Topics discussed included: Service, Still Blooming, Recovery, Somebody Loves You Baby, Choosing Each Other, Life of Being a Giver, Turning My Pain Into Purpose, I Survive.

I Survive – Youth Mental Health Awareness
We continued this safe platform for youth to engage in open dialogue about mental health, share personal experiences, and form supportive connections. Discussions were guided by the needs of each session, equipping participants to advocate for their mental health and encourage their peers.

Community Outreach
In 2025, we expanded our community impact by serving Thanksgiving meals to individuals in need, offering support during the holiday season. We also engaged as a vendor at the annual Walk Against Addiction, raising awareness and sharing resources. Our outreach efforts grew to include participation in the Ending the Silence Block Party, Glow and Let Glow, and Acoustic Sunset, allowing us to connect with and serve our community in new ways.
